The latest ban list released really heavily impacted the meta. The Slash Draw FTK is no longer a really viable deck, in my opinion, since its key card, Slash Draw, got limited. This is good, in my opinion, since I hate FTKs as they don’t give people a chance to play (other than the player using the FTK). With Dark Grepher limited and Rhongomyniad and Galaxy Tomahawk banned, dark warrior FTKs have also been hit. Now with less cards to create degenerate plays, the FTK strategy is no longer as consistent as it was before. It still works, just not as well. With gold sarc at 1 and Fairy Tail – Snow banned, thunder dragons just lost massive consistency. Overall, Sky Striker Ace got untouched and Altergeist got untouched. I think those two will be meta and while Thunder Dragons got hit, they will still be a good meta deck.
